Savannah River Bengals Cattery has turned into an unexpected love of our lives, when our son brought home a beautiful female Bengal kitten “Cleopatra”.  We then bought Joykatz Dixie Gold who was pregnant by QGC Joykatz Touchdown and had two little girls:  Gremlyn (pictured to the left) and I C Spots.  They were such a joy and pleasure to us.

When visiting in Colorado we contacted Judy Miers of Aspengold and bought our male Gizmo alias “Big Daddy” pictured to the right.

We started going to TICA cat shows and soon had many new friends in the cat business.  Since this time, we continue to show to keep up with the latest, striving to excel in breeding and raising Bengal kittens.  We have incorporated the best of the best in our breeding program i.e., MILLWOOD, GOGEES, WILDLOVE, KOZIKATZ, KINGSMARK, LEGACIE, SILVERGENE and others to continue to produce top of the line show/breeder kittens, many of which we sell as pets.  This hobby has been a life saver to me since I was forced to retire from my full time job and become a retiree.  What a joy my bengals are! In December 05, our own pride and joy Savannah River Golden Nugget (left) made Supreme Grand Champion - he was recently honored with the title oof Regional Winner.

We have permanently relocated to the Florida Panhandle - Chipley, FL.  We our raising our kittens underfoot in our home.  The Queens have their own house.  We are in the process of building large outdoor pens for our studs.  Although we have moved, we can still deliver or ship our kittens throughout the United States.  Our kittens are raised underfoot getting lots of love and attention.  We are striving to improve the Bengal line by breeding championship kittens with great rosettes, glitter, white tummies and purring personalities.  At the Cajun Cat Club 2nd annual show Bamapaws Sierra Dreamer made Champion against very stiff competition.  Congratulations Beverly. Bamapaws Stardust of Savannah River did exceptionally well placing First in Color, Division and Breed in 11 out of 12 show rings.  Her highest final was Second Best Kitten.  This kitten has done well in the 5 days she has been shown.  Thank you Beverly for a great show kitten. TICA SE Region 2006 Awards CH Savannah River AG Silver was the Third Best Spotted Black/Silver Tabby CH Savannah River Maasai was the Best Marbled Tabby CH Savannah River Black Knight was the Second Best Marbled Tabby RW SGC Savannah River Golden Nugget was the Third Best Brown Spotted Tabby and 14th Best Shorthair cat.  He achieved both his RW and SGC. Savannah River Bengals is happy to announce the return of THREE of our cats and they will now be part of our breeding program:  CH Savannah River Black Night (one of the top three marbles in the SE), Savannah River Rikki Tikki Tavi (litter mate to CH Savannah River Mocha and CH Savannah River Tempest in a TCup, and RW QGC Savannah River Jagger. We sell most of our kittens as pets but the majority of them are show/breeder quality.  In addition to brown spotted tabbies we have silvers, marbles and occasional blue Bengal and our first black Bengal.  We usually have kittens year around.  Our kittens are sold with a contract and a health guarantee.  Kittens are priced from $600.00 up depending upon the markings.  Breeders from $1500.00.  Please check out our website to see our beautiful sires, dams and kittens. Award of Excellence certifying Savannah River Sterling Knight as the Second Best Black Silver Spotted Tabby Bengal of the Year.  I am very pleased with this, as the best Silver Spotted RW SGC was # 3 Internationally.
